L’Osservatore Romano has decried the decision by a French satirical magazine to include a cartoon mocking Muhammed.
The “questionable” editorial decision by Charlie Hebdo’s weekly magazine
to print a cartoon depicting a naked Muhhamed is likely to “add more
fuel to the fire” in the tense Islamic world, the Vatican newspaper
warned.
L’Osservatore noted that the French bishops’ conference had already expressed about the cartoon.
