It is now 2 months since the death of Patrick Buckley was announced, and not unlike so many others, we here in CW have been very curious about his cause of death...as you would!!
We here in CW, and indeed others, have attempted to obtain the death certificate of Patrick Buckley, but for reasons as of yet unknown to us, the Northern Ireland Coroner Service has refused us the death certificate.
This refusal now raises some serious questions for aforementioned Coroners Service, and also will only serve to feed the concerns of those he infected with HIV.
Was his death due to his HIV?
Was it an (accidental or deliberate) overdose?
Why the refusal to issue or clarify?
Is there a legal basis for such a refusal?
We wish to advise that we wil continue to probe all of this until and such time as the matter is settled, even if via the Courts.
