Pope Francis was honored today with the presentation of the official
stamps honoring the beginning of his pontificate. The stamps were jointly issued by the Vatican and Argentine, the Pope’s home country.
The Pope Francis I stamps will come four to a set with over 200,000 available for purchase.
The Vatican has approved special-edition stamps and the minting of special coins to celebrate March 13, 2013 when Archbishop Jorge Mario Bergoglio was elevated to Pope.
