The two nations turned to the court to resolve the disagreement.
“It is the first time that we look for solutions without weapons, without protest, but through dialogue, reflection and responsibility,” said Archbishop Salvador Piñeiro, according to a Fides news agency report. “If it had been easy, we would not have gone to court.”
