Independent Catholic Church Welcomes “Fallen Away” Catholics Back Home

http://americannationalcatholicchurch.org/hp_wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/ANCC-Horizontal-White-and-Gold.pngStatistics are showing that the second largest growing denomination in the United States is that of former Roman Catholics.

With the ever growing number of individuals who find themselves spiritually homeless this holiday season, the parishioners of St. Catherine of Siena American National Catholic Church open their doors and invite former Roman Catholics to come back to Church during this Holiday Season.

The list of reasons why individuals have chosen to not attend any religious organization increases daily. With the threat of church closures, continued sex abuse scandal, churches excluding members for one reason or another, political corruption, financial mishandlings, and so on, it's no wonder people choose to stay home on Sundays than go anywhere. Feeling a sense of disconnect and a return to more medieval theology and practices, families no longer feel as though they have a place in what was their spiritual home for the past years.

Thankfully, Catholics now have an option here in St Louis. No longer shall anyone go spiritually homeless. St. Catherine of Siena American National Catholic Church is striving to show former Catholics there is an exciting new and vibrant alternative. St. Catherine of Siena is a Catholic Church where all are welcomed and invited!

With the beginning of Advent, the parishioners have undertaken a great period of intentional growth. It is our mission during this holiday season that no one should go without. No one should be homeless physically or spiritually. St. Catherine of Siena ANCC will offer Mass on Christmas Eve at 10:00pm and Mass on Christmas Day at 9:00am.

We encourage and invite everyone who might be searching for a new spiritual home to come and visit us. Finally, a Catholic Church in St. Louis which truly welcomes and values all people; we invite all to receive communion, welcome gays and lesbians, embrace those divorced, and journey with those seeking something different. Whatever your reason or excuse, isn’t it about time you “Come Home for the Holidays?”

St. Catherine of Siena American National Catholic Church worships at the historica Danforth Chapel located at 826 Union Blvd, St Louis, MO 63108 with Mass on Saturdays at 5:30 pm and Sundays at 9:00 am.
