Vandals have caused damage to the inside of a church just months after a large rock was thrown through one of its windows.
Police said St Anne's Catholic Church in Thurso was targeted sometime between 15.00 and 17.30 on Friday.
In January, a boulder was thrown through a window's reinforced glass.
Police said it would have taken more than one person to lift the rock from the church's rockery and throw it.
Several pews inside were damaged.
