A Galway man has told a hit podcast of a strange liking he has for getting intimate in weird places, with a spot like Connacht's four highest mountain certainly taking the cake for the most peculiar location.
The 2 Johnnies Podcast were taking listener submissions for the strangest places that their fans had done the deed and even the two calm and collected hosts were taken aback by one answer.
Reading the submission from Tony from Galway, "Johnny Smacks" McMahon and "Johnny B" O'Brien were gobsmacked, captioning the clip on their Tiktok: 'Not Croagh Patrick lads, really? Is this going on anywhere else?'
"My entry for sex in weird places is the top of Croagh Patrick, the mountain in County Mayo, just down a bit from the church," the submission from the Galway man read.
"There's a bit of a public toilet near the top. It was out behind that. I don't think Saint Patrick himself built that public toilet, but if he did, he put all his effort into the church on top, myself and the girl I was with at the time, we were a bit mad for hiding the wavin' in weird places."
"There's always tourists up there and you're trying to ... operate and there's a couple of Americans there on their bare feet doing the pilgrimage," he laughed.
"Dean in Waterford says 'I did it in a priest's house, not with a priest, mind you,'" Johnny Smacks said.
"I'll never look at that mountain the same," one commenter wrote.
"You'd want antifreeze up there," someone else joked.
A team have almost finished constructing a 4km stone pathway from the base to the summit of Croagh Patrick in order to make the mountain safer and faster to climb for pilgrims and tourists alike.
