The Taoiseach was responding to questions from TDs about whether he would legislate for cases of fatal foetal abnormality and his contacts with the church on the matter.
Richard Boyd Barrett said he had had a daughter with such a condition and he found it absolutely beyond belief that the Government did not intend to do anything at all.
