Founded in 1795, Saint Patrick’s College is renowned for its contributions to theological education and scholarship, achieving Pontifical University status in 1896.
The College comprises Saint Patrick’s Pontifical University (SPPU) and Saint Patrick’s National Seminary, each with its own mission but governed by shared Trustees.
The President will lead the College’s theological and pastoral mission, manage resources, and foster relationships with academic, cultural, and international partners.
The President will also serve as Rector of SPPU, overseeing academic and operational management, leading strategic initiatives, and ensuring the institution’s growth.
The role requires a doctoral degree, a license in theology from a Pontifical Faculty, and significant leadership experience in higher education.
Applicants must be a Catholic priest and provide written permission from their Ordinary or Religious Superior.
