The owners of Ashers Bakery, the Northern Ireland business sanctioned
in the so-called ‘gay cake’ row, is to pursue an appeal against the
discrimination finding against it in Britain’s Supreme Court. According to a spokesperson for The Christian Institute, which has backed the McArthur family throughout the case: “Ashers Baking Company will take the necessary legal steps to instigate a Supreme Court appeal on this crucially important matter as soon as possible.”
