The complaint had been received by the persons concerned, confirmed the archbirticle of the "Kölnische Rundschau" (Saturday).
The plaintiff, who has already received an ecclesiastical recognition, therefore demands a sum of 800,000 euros.
According to the data, the woman was sexually abused in 1992 by a altar boy of a Cologne community at the age of about six.
The young man, who was 17 to 18 years old at the time of the crime, was sentenced to two years of probation for several such crimes in 1998.
The woman's lawyer, Eberhard Luetjohann, argues that the altar boy was insufficiently supervised by the ecclesiastical ministers in the parish.
Last year, Luetjohann had fought 300,000 euros in violence for a fraudulent attacker in a trial against the Archdiocese of Cologne and is currently representing another victim in a similar case against the diocese.
In both cases, the Archdiocese of Cologne had waived the deception of the statute of limitations.
According to the "Cologne Rundschau", the Archdiocese does not want to express itself further on the current case, nor does it want to express itself further whether it is once again refraining.
