Presentation Brothers to hold Vocations Awareness days in Ireland

The Presentation Brothers are holding a number of vocation information days for men aged 18-40 years of age in Ireland in the coming days.

The Order holds the first of such days in Dublin on today Saturday March 5 and in Cork on Saturday March 12.

According to the Order's vocations director for Ireland and Britain Br Raymond Dwyer, the Information Days represent, “an opportunity to meet a Presentation Brother and ask questions about what is involved in becoming a member of a religious order.”

According to Brother Dwyer, both information days begin at 11:00am and finish after lunch at around 2:30pm.

The event is free of charge and without obligation.  A vocations information pack will also be given to those who attend.  Brother Dwyer, “Most of the men I meet in my role as vocations director having been thinking of a religious vocation for some time but very often the information they need to pursue this objective is not readily available.”

“That is the purpose of these days, namely to provide some advice and support to any man who would like to do something worthwhile with his life and has considered a religious vocation.  Many often have 101 questions to ask.”

Brother Dwyer said that he would be on hand at both the Cork and Dublin information days he can be contacted at (01)230 0824 or email prescal@eircom.net.
