Hard man Wahlberg finds strength in faith

Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg has said his Catholic faith is the “most important thing” in his life.

The actor, whose list of hit films includes The Perfect Storm and The Italian Job, spoke of his faith during a recent interview, revealing that he often attends Mass twice on Sundays.

“I'll go to church at 7:30 and everybody will be eating breakfast when I come home," he said. "Then we'll go to church again at 10:30.”

Walhberg has previously spoken of how he begins each day with 10 minutes of prayer, wherever his acting life finds him.

“I pray to be a good servant to God, a father, a husband, a son, a friend, a brother, an uncle, a good neighbour, a good leader to those who look up to me, a good follower to those who are serving God and doing the right thing,” he explained.
