President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia Alexander
Boroda congratulated Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on his
70th birthday.
"The day of your birthday is a good chance to tell you the words of
gratitude for your personal principle position and the position of the
Russian Orthodox Church against anti-Semitism and xenophobia expressed
more than once, for prominent contribution in developing inter-religious
interaction in our country," Boroda was quoted as saying by his press
service on Sunday.
He is sure that the patriarch's and the FJCR joint actions "based on
mutual understanding and trust will further have constructive character
and bring positive results in the joint affair aimed at prosperity and
flourishing of our people."
Boroda wished the primate good health, happiness, well-being, peace and strength in his ministry.
