Francis, from, childhood to Pope, in his own words

Pope Francis In His Own Words, a new documentary containing some of the most important quotes from Pope Francis, has just been released.
Francis also reflects on the impact of his childhood, such as the imprint that his mother and grandmother left on him, and the things that shaped his personality.

Cardinal Santos Abril, from the Basilica of St Mary Major, who presented the documentary at an event in Rome last week, says: "The footage of this documentary shows moments in the life of the Pope when he was in Argentina, Rome, and other countries he visited, where he speaks about himself and what he has done in the past three years.”

Antonio Olivie, the film's director, says: "I think that the documentary is especially important in the light of the next synod about priestly vocations. It is an important issue for the Church; one that young people will use as a template. Understanding and assessing the Pope's vocation is a model for new generations.”
