In October 2018, hundreds of bishops from around the world will
reflect and debate about "Youth, faith, and vocational discernment.”
The
organization of the Synod states that the goal is to "accompany youth
on their existential journey towards maturity, so that through a process
of discernment they may discover their own life project and they may
fulfill it with joy, open to an encounter with God and men,
participating actively in the development of the Church and of society.”
