Headless Chickens Discovered at Holy Spirit Catholic Church

Detectives said a 58-year-old man was performing landscaping work at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church Thursday morning when he came across a plastic bag on the property. 

Inside the bag, which was placed in front of a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, were two headless chickens, cops said.

The bag was reportedly dropped at the statue between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 8:50 a.m. Thursday, when the landscape worker made the discovery, police reported.
