The Faith Gathering Weekend led by the Bishop of Killaloe has drawn to a close following events in St. Flannan's College and Ennis Cathedral which included the launch of a new pastoral plan for the diocese, entitled "Builders of Hope".

The plan is inspired by the lessons of Pope Francis and follows a public consultation process throughout Clare and the Killaloe Diocese to listen to the vision of local people for the future of the Catholic Church.

Bishop Kieran O'Reilly says he believes local parishes will see significant changes from the plan, though he admits it will be a slow process.
