In view of the Pope’s reduced public activities over the summer months,
the Vatican has announced that there will be no General Audiences on
the following Wednesdays in August: 7, 14, 21 and 28.
The weekly
General Audiences with Pope Francis will resume on Wednesday September
4.
On Sundays during the month of August, Pope Francis will preside the Angelus prayer in the Vatican.
On the Feast of the Assumption August 15th,
the Holy Father will celebrate Holy Mass in the Parish of Castel
Gandolfo and later recite the Angelus prayer with the faithful at the
papal summer residence in the Roman hill town.
