Clare Gardai are investigating seperate break-ins at two churches in the county.In the first incident the Friary in Ennis was targeted in the early hours of last Thursday night into Friday morning.
The thieves gained access by breaking a stain glass window, and escaped with a collection box of coins.
Meanwhile in Kilrush, 5 windows of the side entrance to St. Senans church were smashed between Sunday and Monday of last week, however nothing was stolen.
Gardai are appealing for information on both incidents.
