Bishop of Galway announces diocesan changes (2013)

Bishop of Galway and Kilmacduagh and Apostolic Administrator of Kilfenora, Martin Drennan has announced dicocesan changes.
 
The appointments will come into effect from this Friday.

Fr. Richard Tarpey, AP, Ennistymon to be Pastor Emeritus.

Fr. John O' Dwyer, P.P Oranmore to be Pastor Emeritus.

Fr. Michael Mulkerrins, P.P Renmore to be Pastor Emeritus.

Fr. Martin Downey, P.P St. Joesph's, to be appointed to Diocesan Chapter.

Fr. Derek Feeney, P.P Ennistymon to be appointed to Diocesan Chapter.

Fr. James Walsh, P.P, Clarinbridge to be appointed to Diocesan Chapter.

Fr. Desmond Forde, Administrator Barna, to become P.P Barna.

Fr. Tom Brady, CF, Chaplain, Defence Forces to become P.P Renmore.

Fr. Diarmuid Hogan, Chaplain NUIGalway to be P.P Oranmore.

Fr. David Murphy, on sabbatical, to go on loan to Wrexham Diocese, Wales.

Fr. Murchadh Ó Madagáin, on leave, to go on loan to Venice Diocese, Florida.

Fr. Barry Horan, Galway Regional Marriage Tribunal, nominated to be Chaplain, NUI Galway.

Fr. Robert McNamara, C.C Renmore to be C.C Knocknacarra.

Fr. Henry Nevin, SDS, P.P Sallynoggin, Dublin to be C.C Lahinch, Ennistymon.
