A CATHOLIC priest working as a chaplain at a prison has been arrested after allegedly paying an inmate to perform sex acts on him.

Deacon Frank DeTucci, 70, paid a male inmate $120 and $150 on two separate occasions to perform oral sex on him inside the chaplain’s office at the minimum security Queensboro Correctional Facility in Long Island City, sources said.

The latest alleged incident happened on July 5, the New York Post reported.

DeTucci, who was hired by the state Department of Corrections in 1992, was arrested by state police.

He is charged with criminal sex act, attempted criminal sex act, sexual misconduct, attempted sexual misconduct and official misconduct, said a spokeswoman for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.

DeTucci, who lives in Astoria and earns $79,819 a year at his job, has been put on leave without pay, said a spokeswoman for the state prison system.
