Humanity today, just like the "harassed
and helpless," crowds which moved Jesus need a "rule of life" based on
brotherly love, which has its source in God: this is "the true remedy to
the wounds of humanity, be they material, such as hunger and injustice,
or psychological and moral caused by a false well-being ".
This was the
warning that Benedict XVI addressed last Sunday to 30 thousand people in St.
Peter's Square for the Angelus.

the poorest countries, tried by poverty, and even in the richest
countries there are so many dissatisfied men and women, even people with
depression. Then we can also think of the many displaced persons and

heaven, and he repeats: 'Come unto me all of you ...' ".
