Vatican Museums Open During New Extended Night Hours

Lovers of art and history will have more time to enjoy the Vatican Museums with extended night hours. 

During the special event, every Friday from September 3rd to October 29th, the museums will be accept visitors from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm with the last admission at 9:30 pm. 

Regarded as one of the most incredible art collections in the world, masterpieces and artifacts range from Egyptian mummies to medieval tapestries and Renaissance paintings. 

20,000 visitors enjoy the Vatican Musuems each day and the extended hours will help more to enjoy all the site has to offer. Some visitors will even plan to spend two days while in Rome touring the museums and viewing the Sistine Chapel.

Tickets are important to maximize one's time at the museum. A ticket grants admission to the Vatican Museums as well as the Sistine Chapel. 

It is highly recommended to make reservations online to avoid waiting in line.

The Vatican Museums display the immense collection of artifacts accumulated over the centuries by the Roman Catholic Church.
