This week Archbishop Braulio Rodriguez of Toledo, Spain accompanied 750 young people on a 13 mile leg of the Way of St. James, the pilgrimage route leading to Santiago de Compostela, where the apostle’s remains are buried. The archbishop met up with the large group of young people on Monday in the city of Gijon.
He then walked 13 miles with them to the city of Aviles.
The young people from Toledo will meet up with thousands of their peers for a national youth meeting this coming Sunday in Santiago.
