Ex Aedibus Sotto Voce - July 2010

Well, we have now reached the second half of 2010, and what a somewhat challenging New Year it was - and remains - with the major headline being the continued focus globally on the Church and its continuous mishandling of clerical sexual abuse allegations.

We covered as much as possible the happenings in each area as they arose, but we had 2 team members working on this area alone and gathered as much information as was possible.

Since January 1st, we have managed to date to publish over 4,000 stories and out of that number, nearly 3,000 of that number were in relation to clerical sex abuse alone.

This is frightening to even contemplate, but what is worse is the fact that this is going to continue until such time as those in authority actually start to take this matter seriously and make heads roll but the only problem with that is all roads lead to Rome!!!

We wait in anticipation for some real change....

At a more local level, and certainly more internal also, CW Team is taking annual break from 8th - 15th July during which time, 2 CW Team members will be moving to new stations and others will no doubt be informed of their new postings also.

In that time, there will be daily prayer posted and usual vid (which we are only too well aware sets some pulses racing) but if anything happens which is of importance and relevance it will be published as 'breaking news' and those of you who have joined us via Facebook and Twitter will be notified right away.

Also, beginning on Sunday July 4th 2010, we shall not be updating CW on the Sundays but that will mean all the more to read on the Monday. This will allow us to get some well earned and deserved rest no doubt from the week before and recharge for the coming one. On each Sunday, there will be the readings of the day published for you to reflect upon and a religous music video published with the prayer for the month that is in it

If we may at this juncture take this opportunity to thank all of you who have contributed via comments, criticisms, queries, contributions and otherwise...all welcome!!!

We ask you all to have a good and safe summer break and shall keep you all in our prayers....any petitions you may have for prayers, feel free send them to us and we will remember them in our daily Mass and prayers.

God bless you all
