Diocesan Clerical Changes 2010 - Raphoe

His Lordship, Most Reverend Philip Boyce, Bishop of Raphoe, has announced the following clergy appointments in the diocese with effect from the last weekend of August 2010.

Very Reverend Michael Conaghan, PP, Kilmacrennean, retires after 34 years of service in the diocese.

Reverend Patrick Dunne, Chaplain in Saint Eunan's College, Letterkenny, is appointed as PP in Kilmacrennan

Reverend Rory Brady, Chaplain in LYIT, is appointed Chaplain in Saint Eunan's College, Letterkenny

Reverend John Boyce, CC, Golan & Coole, is appointed Chaplain in LYIT whilst remaining CC in Golan & Coole

Very Reverend Michael Sweeney, PP, Gaoth Dobhair, retires after 48 years service in the diocese, and is appointed as AP in Milford for three months from 1st Septemeber, and thereafter as AP in Glenvar

An Dr Ró-oirmh Pádraig O Baoighill, CC Gaoth Dobhair, is appointed as PP in Gaoth Dobhair

Reverend Paul Gallagher, CC, Convoy, is appointed as CC in Gaoth Dobhair and as Chaplain to Pobalscoil Chloich Cheannfhaola, Falcarragh

An tAth Oirmh Brian O Fearraigh, CC Gaoth Dobhair and Chaplain to Pobalscoil Chloich Cheannfhaola, Falcarragh, remains as CC in Gaoth Dobhair and is appointed as Chaplain to Pobalscoil Gaoth Dobhair

Reverend Philip Kemmy, CC, Conwal & Leck (Letterkenny), is appointed as CC in Convoy

Reverend Damian McGroarty, newly ordained, is appointed as CC in Conwal & Leck (Letterkenny)

Reverend James Gillespie, CC, Milford, goes on a 3 month sabbatical
