Fergie calls for priest over press coverage

SARAH FERGUSON, Duchess of York, has used the services of a priest to get over her treatment by the press.

"I went into a church and told the priest I didn't think I could cope with it anymore," the Duchess told Reader's Digest for the magazine's edition to be published on Thursday.

"He said, 'Do you believe in your heart that the papers are right?'. No. One day the papers will know the truth - although I'm not sure they do yet. I still get very upset at negative press."

Bear in mind this religious turn came BEFORE Ferguson fell into a New of the World trap, in which she agreed to give a fake businessman access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, in exchange for £500,000.

In fact, Ferguson took the priest route after being lampooned in the media for her weight.

"People would make it worse by saying how sorry they were about some awful article," she said.

The response in the press to Fergie's money-for-access clanger has been much more ferocious than to her expanding waistline, so forget a priest; we can probably expect a trip to Rome to see the Pope this time around.
