Deputy First Minister joins calls for Brady resignation

The North's deputy First Minister has today called on Cardinal Sean Brady to consider his position.

Martin McGuinness was speaking in Washington where he is attending the St Patrick's Day celebrations.

The call comes as the Government is being asked to step in and take charge of child protection within the Catholic Church.

Survivors groups One In Four says its clear that the church is not capable of effective self-governance in the area of child protection.
