The amounts paid out in compensation by some of the Catholic Church’s dioceses, according to latest figures

FERNS

Settlements : €12 (€8 million in settlement, and €4 million in legal costs, including costs arising from Ferns Inquiry)

Allegations : 20-plus

Civil actions : 60 (12 are pending)

DUBLIN

Settlements : €11 million (€7.6 million in settlements and €3.4 million in legal costs)

Allegations : 153

Civil action s: 133 (34 are pending)

TUAM

Settlements : €880,000 (€520,000 in settlement, €360,000 in legal costs)

Allegations : 22

Civil actions : 10

KERRY

Settlements : €500,000

Allegations : 26

Civil actions : 16 (four pending)

LIMERICK

Settlements : None, but about €50,000 in legal costs

Allegations : 18

Civil actions : none

DOWN AND CONNOR

Allegations : 18

WATERFORD AND LISMORE

Settlements : €95,000
