CW - Further Changes

Our dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, we yet again get in touch to advise of further changes in CW; changes which you have asked us to consider, some determined by necessity and others are a natural progression.

First and foremost, we want to advise that for the next few days there will be no postings hereupon with the exception of the prayers. This is due to some of us in the process of moving parish and therefore not in a position to contribute for the moment.

However, by early next week, we hope to have this situation rectified and blogging again so as to keep your appetites whetted and fed.

Secondly, a new list shall soon appear - albeit slowly - alongside which will hereafter contain Source Identity Code (SIC) for each and every posting on this site, and we ask your patience in this regard as it develops slowly.

Thirdly, we are conscious that we now have almost 800,000 hits on this site since 15th December 2006 which is amazing and these are all individual hits and once offs as we do not record subsequent hits from repeat visits.

In that regard, one of our techies has advised that if we did count those hits (as has been happening since mid-2007) we would now be close to the 8.5 million mark which is astonishing to say the least.

We do sincerely appreciate your visits and return visits as much again.

Finally, and on a almost more sadder note, we wish to tell you all that the founding Father of CW has thrown in his collar (in relation to CW) since June, but has left the running etc of the site to those of us who remain.

It is indeed a regret that he felt his time in relation to CW was to come to an end but his ranking in the echelons has ensured it is no longer feasible for him to continue as before.

At all times, he has kept this site going through it all, despite the intimidation, threats and anger but never has he failed to keep it going - 17,430 postings later - and we are only glad and humbled by his trust in us since earlier this year in appointing us to carry the torch.

We have asked him to consider making a submission / posting to us and indeed to you all, in relation to CW its development etc since December 2006, and he has assured us it will issue in due course.

We would like to wish him well as he prepares to take on the mantle of high office in the coming weeks.

In editing changes and features here, we have commissioned a coat of arms for the site which now replaces the biretta which so marked this site for the last 2 and a half years.

Within the shield are a quill and manuscript, the Holy Spirit and the Alpha and Omega, encased above with the clerical cap and accompanying tassel, with the motto underneath of Fides, Veritas Libertas.

It shall be used from here on in communicating with you all.

They are the current changes envisaged for CW, and again we welcome all comments, criticism and suggestions via : clericalwhispers@gmail.com
