My dear friends, it is with great joy we announce the continued success of this appeal and in less than 4 months, we have had donations of* Albs
* Chasubles
* Chalices
* Ciboria
* Lectionaries
...and all have been thus far sent where the need is greatest.
We are truly grateful for all the donations, and encourage you to keep looking in the sacristy/vestry and if there is anything there which will help with the spreading of the word of God, by all means get in touch with us on clericalwhispers@gmail.com and subject line it CW AA and we will give it our immediate attention.
On a local note in Ireland, we have had a few clergy request if possible, hardback copies of the Irish language Bible - An Bíobla Naofa - and again contact us and let us know if you can be of assistance.
In the interim, keep us and those who receive these kind contributions in your prayers, as we do all of you who are so kind to send to us.
We will be establishing permanent contact persons in some countries who will accept these contributions and they shall disperse them to those most in need in a 'Adopt-A-Parish' scheme we hope to establish at Easter.
We will keep you all up to date on this as it happens, and list some of the areas where your contributions are going / gone but we must be careful as you understand not to mention other places due to current ongoing political difficulties.
Let us keep them also in our prayers.
