Sotto Voce...November Happenings

My dear friends, we are now approaching the end of another month of postings which are headlined as per usual and what a busy month it has been.

We now turn our thoughts and prayers from the Rosary to those who are deceased and need our prayers and so in the month of November each days posting shall alongside the Vocations prayer place the prayers for the deceased.

As I am away for a few days initially in November, the usual amount of postings will not be posted until my return, but there will be some for All Saints and All Souls days which I hope you find helpful.

We are also heading for our half millionth visitor and in recognition of this, a special celebration shall be held in Dublin on next Wednesday evening at 7pm and I shall be unmasking myself to all.

If interested, please do send me a message via the comments box and I will respond.

This may be a popular event so once the quota has been reached then all further requests shall be refused.

May I take this opportunity to thank each and all of for continuing to contribute to CW and that it is sincerely appreciated and ask you to feel free to continue to do so.

Gach uile beannacht,

Sotto Voce

I would love to be there next wednesday but I don't think it will be possible! I'm in South America and just can't leave work at this moment.
But, since I pray for you everyday at mass I would love to have either a picture or a name... although the Lord knows who I mean when I say "Sotto" and "Sacerdos".

Good luck!

What a WONDERFUL idea.

Would love to be there on that special occasion and as I live not too far south of Dublin would like to get on the list if it is still possible! I am sure we all have our "visions" of the Holy and caring man behind the site who is not afraid to publish items sometimes quite sensitive to the Church and would really like to be there to lend support and show appreciation for the great service you are providing with the site and more importantly to give support to a very fine member of the Clergy.

Good on ya!

As I'm not Irish/living in Ireland your name will probably not ring any bells with me. But I would be really grateful for a place on the site where I can contact you with a comment personal to you or an article/account for your consideration.

Anyway, congratulations. Of course there's things I don't like on the site - one thing is the plethora of pictures and "stuff" about the Pope(s). And the endless stream of US priest-paedophile allegations and cases.

But I'm grateful to have the opportunity to "sound off" some of my own views, confident that at least one person will read what I'm saying!

Cheers, mate! Ooops - i mean Reverend Father. Pax et Gaudium

I would love to meet you! I have enjoyed your work for some time now and it would be good to finally meet the priest who is not afraid to stand up and call it like it is!

Sotto,

Congratulations on an incredible milestone. Would love to be there but it's to late to get plane tickets from the US hinterlands. Plus I have to vote.

Here's hoping next Wednesday gives us two reasons to celebrate.

Your site is a must read for me, and I'm really thrilled to see so many others think the same thing about this blog, even if we all don't think the same way. Could this be an example of unity in diversity?

I'd stay undercover because the Bishops and Cardinals might make you a martyr!

We are anxiously awaiting details of the place! We have the time 7 p.m. in Dublin but where oh where in the city?
Keep us posted please.

I guess your fans and the fans of the website are going to be disappointed with this 'unmasking' because we won't be there as unfortunately we have not heard where it is going to be held!! With less than an hour to go we would need the help of 'Beam me up Scotty' of Star Trek to transport us to the venue in time.
Be sorry to miss it but that's life..................

Soto,
I have helped to swell the visitors to your site by putting listing on Indymedia a few weeks ago. It is going well. Glad to inform more people about the existence of Clerical Whispers.

Father,

Some time ago you mentioned that you had a 'promotion' within the Church and would often not have as much time to work on this Blog.

I am hoping that by the new Logo at the top of the page that your 'promotion' has now kicked in.

If this is the case CONGRATULATIONS - well deserved!!!

Still waiting for the 'unveiling' of the man behind the blog!!
