Pope John Paul's II body will not be dissected say Bishops

Bishops have protested against an article in Gazeta Wyborcza, which said that the body of John Paul II would be dissected

Bishops have protested against an article in Gazeta Wyborcza, which said that the body of John Paul II would be dissected and made into relics for which Polish diocese and sanctuaries have already started vying, while the Pope's heart would be buried in Kraków.

Robert Nęcek, spokesperson of the Kraków archdiocese specifically denied that the archdiocese would ever think of this.

The Archbishop of Gdańsk, Sławoj Leszek Głódź, said that placing the article on the first page was tasteless and a search for sensation at the cost of John Paul II's memory.
