Monastic Reflections - Justice

Beware of how you judge those who do not appreciate you.

When the ones you lead do not confide in you, take a very long time before concluding that they have poor judgement.

Seek out the company of those who don't like you, and you will get an opportunity to be fair.

Do not judge the faults of your children by the indignation they cause you, but by the pain they cause God.

Put yourself in the shoes of others; do not force them to wear yours.

Leaving will make your children envious but only if your heart does not stay with them.
