Polish priest gives evidence on sex-abuse charges

A Polish prosecutor in Szczecin spent 4 hours interviewing a whistle-blower priest on Monday, March 17, seeking information about allegations of sexual abuse at a home for children there.

Father Marcin Mogielski, a Dominican priest, created a furor when he reported that the director of a home of adolescent boys had routinely abused the boys under his care.

In an article published in Gazeta Wyborcza, Father Mogielski said that the abuse had been brought to the attention of Church officials, who chose to ignore the problem. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
