Bishop Casey Returns....More or less....

Bishop Eamonn Casey (pic'd here) has now returned to his home in Shanaglish in County Galway after a bad fall he suffered back in April of this year.

He had been in the village of Gort and slipped at a shop door, on to his right hip and necessitating the cancellation of special 80th. birthday celebrations which had been organised.

The fall required him to spend time in a nursing home in Limerick for the last few weeks, but this week, he was in a position to be discharged from the home and back to Shanaglish.

However, like many others in this country, he is frustrated at the slow pace of the Vatican giving him the clearance to return to the pulpit where he rightly belongs, and this despite his having being cleared by the investigating authorities in Ireland.

One has now to start wondering what the hell is going on and why the Vatican are dragging their heels on this....they permitted him back to Ireland with the intention of giving him duties and yet are obfuscating such a return and basically deeming him to be guilty of a sex charge which has been proven to be without foundation.....

And then they wonder why so many did not believe they acted properly when dealing with the allegations of CSA down through the years......
