Lord God, today we celebrate the feast of the Ascension. As you were raised from the dead and told your followers that you had to ascend to the Father in order for you to send the Paraclete, we pray in thanksgiving for the gift of the Holy Spirit into our lives.
May we always know of the gifts of the Spirit and may we make good use of these gifts in making sound and healthy decisions in life. We ask this in your name.
